Before you go live, confirm:
- ConsentBit script is in the <head>, before any tracking scripts
- Cookie scan has been run and all cookies are categorized correctly
- Banner shows “Accept” and “Reject” with equal prominence
- No categories are pre-checked
- A “Cookie Preferences” link is in your footer
- Your Privacy Policy mentions ConsentBit and the categories of cookies you use
- Consent Mode v2 is enabled if you use any Google Ads/Analytics products
- Geo-targeting is on if you have international traffic
- Consent logs are being recorded (check the Consent Logs page)
- You’ve tested the banner in incognito mode and confirmed it works
