Use geo-targeting.

Different regions have different rules. GDPR requires opt-in; CCPA requires an opt-out. Showing the same banner to everyone either over-restricts your US visitors or under-protects your EU visitors.

ConsentBit detects each visitor’s country from their IP address and shows the appropriate banner:

• EU/EEA/UK visitors → GDPR opt-in banner
• California visitors → “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link
• Visitors elsewhere → Whatever default you choose (often “notice only”)
