Step-by-step guides for Webflow

May 18, 2026
Webflow is one of ConsentBit’s two original platforms and has full native support.

Steps:

  1. In the ConsentBit dashboard, open your site.
  2. Copy the script snippet shown.
  3. In Webflow, open the project you want to install ConsentBit on.
  4. Click the gear icon (⚙) on the left to open Project Settings.
  5. Click the Custom Code tab at the top.
  6. Find the Head Code section.
  7. Paste the ConsentBit script into the head code.
  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. Click Publish in the top right of Webflow and publish to your live domain (not just webflow.io, unless you’re testing).
  10. Open your live site in an incognito window , the banner should appear.

Webflow-specific notes:

  • The free webflow.io staging domain works for testing, but make sure you’ve added the staging domain in ConsentBit too (or the banner won’t load there).
  • If you use Webflow’s built-in Google Analytics integration (Project Settings → Integrations), ConsentBit will detect and block it automatically.
  • For Webflow e-commerce sites, the cart and checkout cookies are flagged as Necessary by default, do not change this, or checkout will break.
